KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A northeast Missouri man charged in connection with a high-speed limo chase back in December has his case moved up to Adair County Circuit court.
Vicente Soto, 25, of Kirksville is charged with felony counts of stealing a motor vehicle and property damage.
He remains in the Adair County Jail on $25,000 cash only bond.
Soto is accused of stealing a limousine from a Kirksville business and leading several law enforcement agencies on a high-speed chase thru three counties.
Soto has already entered guilty pleas to felony charges of tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest in Macon County.
He was given a suspended execution of sentence and placed on five years probation in the Macon County case.
Soto waived his preliminary hearing yesterday and was denied a bond reduction.
His case now moves to circuit court where he's due in court next week. Related stories:
