KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Kirksville man facing a child abuse charge in connection with an infant who was seriously injured, has been denied bond reduction.
Larry Walker, 28, had asked for a reduction in his bond, which has been denied by Adair County Associate Circuit Judge Kristie Swaim. Walker will remain in the Adair County Jail under $100,000 cash only bond.
Walker is accused of causing serious injuries to an 18-day-old infant in his care. Walker was in court Wednesday for an appearance before Judge Swaim.
His next court date is set for December 19 for a preliminary hearing.
