ADAIR COUNTY, MO -- In rural Adair County, fire crews responded to a big house fire on Redbud Road.

According to Adair County Sheriff Robert Hardwick, it happened around 3 a.m. Saturday when a heat lamp on the front porch caught fire

Fire crews arrived within minutes, but the house was a total loss.

The homeowners, Jerry and Lysle Meyer, did make it out ok. However, Jerry did suffer from some minor burns.
