According to a press release issued Wednesday, Sept. 26 by the Centerville Fire Department, on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at approximately 1:06 p.m. the Centerville Police Department received a 911 call of a fire on the roof of The Gypsy Quarter at 218 E. State St. in Centerville.

An early threat of rain didn’t stop the public from turning out Tuesday in record numbers for the fifth annual My Keokuk Goes Green Communitywide Recycling Event.
