BLOOMFIELD, IOWA -- A six foot red-tailed boa constrictor that was reported missing from Davis County High School has been found.
The snake's owner, Davis County science teacher Joe Pisarik had resigned from the district and was packing up his classroom over the Memorial Day weekend when he reported the snake had gone missing.
At the time, Bloomfield police notified the public that they should be on the lookout for the creature, and that it could possible be a threat to pets and maybe small children.
Apparently the reptile never left the building.
The snake was found Wednesday morning found in a container in Pisarik's former room.
It was alive but suffering from extreme dehydration.
