Stabbing leads to felony arrest

KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI -- The investigation into the stabbing incident in Kirksville Tuesday evening, results in an arrest unrelated to the stabbing. 

According to court papers, while serving a search warrant at the residence as part of the investigation, Kirksville Police discovered numerous items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. 

Arrested in the incident is Shauna Van Dusen, 37, of Kirksville. She is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Court papers indicate Van Dusen admitted to police she had purchased pseudoephedrine used to manufacture meth at the residence. 

Shauna Van Dusen is being held in the Adair County Jail under $75,000 cash only bond. Meanwhile, the investigation into the Tuesday evening incident by Kirksville Police, is continuing.
