MILAN, MO. -- A Heartland man is in custody, on an ICE detainer, following a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol
   
Rolando Perez, 38, of Milan, is being held in the Adair County Jail for immigration authorities.

According to court papers, Perez was unable to produce a driver’s license at the scene, then told the trooper his name was Edgar Perez. He later admitted his first name was Rolando. The only information he could provide for an address was that he lived on 3rd Street in Milan.
    
Perez is being held without bond awaiting immigration officials.
