MACON, MISSOURI -- A northeast Missouri man is in custody in connection with an alleged sex related incident that occurred Thursday in the city of Macon.

Vivian Lee Troy, 54, of Macon, is charged with sexual assault in connection with the incident. 

According to court papers, the victim told police she had refused to have sex with Troy. Its alleged Troy then grabbed the victim by the hair, dragging her across the floor and into the bedroom, where she says he forced himself on her. 

The victim said Troy also attempted to strangle her while they were on the bed. 

Vivian Lee Troy is in the Macon County Jail on $20,000 cash only bond.
