On February 3, 2012, Ameren Missouri filed an electric rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual electric operating revenues by approximately $375.6 million. For the average residential customer the proposed increase would be approximately 14 percent or $14 per month. Ameren Missouri's filing also includes a request to continue its fuel adjustment clause that reflects changes in the cost of fuel used to generate electricity on customers' bills through a separately-identified surcharge or credit outside a general rate case.
Formal evidentiary hearings in this rate case are scheduled from September
24 through October 12, 2012. These hearings will be held in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City.
Ameren Missouri provides electric service to approximately 1.2 million customers in Missouri.
