KIRKSVILLE, MO -- The First Baptist Church in Kirksville is raising money for a summer mission trip to El Salvador. 

The church hosted a big yard sale, selling clothes, appliances, computers, technology, a bike, and even a van.

As of noon Saturday, Pastor Marty Joplin said they raised $2,000.

The church is sending seven people to the Central American country July 19-28. 

The missionaries will visit churches and share their testimony.

Also they will give away 500 bibles and school supplies to the children they meet during the trip.
