MACON, MISSOURI -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol is pleased to announce the assignment of Trooper Graydon Gaines to Troop B, effective December 16, 2011. Trooper Gaines is a member of the 94th Missouri State Highway Patrol Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on December 16, 2011.

Trooper Gaines, a native of Kirksville, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 10, which serves the citizens of Monroe and Randolph counties. Trooper Gaines graduated from Kirksville High School in Kirksville, Missouri, and holds a bachelor's of science degree in exercise science from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.  Gaines currently serves in the Army National Guard as an executive officer.  He is married to Ashley (McDougal) Gaines.
