KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A southeast Missouri man facing two felony sex charges in northeast Missouri is now in custody.

Michael Labruyere, 23, of Cape Girardeau is charged with first-degree statutory sodomy and first-degree statutory rape.
    
According to court papers, Labruyere allegedly had sex with the victim prior to her 14th birthday.
    
The alleged incidents happened at the victim’s residence in Kirksville between August and October of 2009.
    
The information was obtained by officers during the course of another investigation.
   
Labruyere was arrested over the weekend by authorities in southeast Missouri and is now being held in the Adair county jail. He is being held on $150,000 cash only bond.
