Northeast Missouri woman could face up to 15 years in prison

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Northeast Missouri woman entered a guilty plea on drug charges Tuesday morning.

Lisa Wilson, 31, of Kirksville, pled guilty to the Class B Felony of Attempt to Manufacture a Controlled Substance.

Wilson was charged for events that occured on September 2, 2011.

According to Adair County Prosecutor, Matt Wilson, Kirksville Police Officers were conducting a search at a residence in Kirksville and found items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. While officers were at the residence, Wilson entered the home with other items used to manufacture meth.

Her sentencing date is set for November 22, 2011 in the Circuit Court of Adair County.

Wilson is facing up to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The state is seeking a sentence of 10 years.
