KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- The Kirksville Police Department is asking for your help regarding an assault and robbery that took place last Thursday.

A Truman State University student reported being assaulted and then robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash while near the downtown area Thursday morning just before 4.

The 21-year-old victim reported being approached by a female and then by a male who assaulted him with a metal pipe. The victim’s money was then taken and the two assailants left the area.

The female suspect was described as being Caucasian, about 5’5”, long brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans.

The male suspect, also Caucasian, was described as having no facial hair and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Identikit composite sketches were completed by the victim.
