Man caught with meth ingredients

LEWIS COUNTY, MO -- A Lewis County man is behind bars on drug charges.
While on a late night patrol, a Lewis County Sheriff's Deputy began following a suspicious vehicle, a pickup.
It ran off the road and hit a telephone box.
According to the sheriff's office, the deputy found meth-making ingredients in both the cab and bed of the pickup.
Steven Savage, 26, of rural LaBelle was arrested for attempted manufacture of methamphetamine, a class B Felony.
Savage, a convicted felon, is being held in the Lewis County Jail on $50,000 cash only bond.
