NOVINGER, MO -- There's plenty to do in Novinger this weekend with the annual Labor Day celebration put on by the Novinger Lions Club.
The three day event has been going on for more than 50 years.
It kicked off Saturday with ATV races and continued Sunday with an antique tractor pull, carnival rides, and talent show.
"It's been lots of fun this year and everyone I believe is having a blast today. The weather's been excellent, you couldn't ask for a better day, the nice sunshine and little breeze. It's just nice to come out and enjoy friends and family," said Lena Reardon, Novinger Lions Club Treasurer.
Saturday's activities concluded with a teen dance.
The fun continues Monday with the Labor Day Fun Walk at 8 a.m., barbeque chicken dinner at 11, and parade starting at 1 p.m.

There's even a chance to visit the historic Coal Miners Museum.
