KIRKSVILLE, MO --
A Kirksville couple celebrated a major relationship milestone over a slice of pizza Tuesday.
    
Charles “Junior” and Wilma “Jeep” Swanson were married 60 years ago on August 2.
    
The pair enjoyed lunch with family and friends at their favorite place, the south Pizza Hut restaurant.

“We celebrate out birthdays here and our anniversary, and then our first date was January the 7th in '51, and so we even come here on that anniversary,” said Jeep Swanson.

The pizza lovers have been celebrating birthdays and anniversaries at Pizza Hut for 40 years, and say it’s their second home.

They met while rollerskating.
    
The two say it seems like they were married just yesterday rather than 60 years ago, and the secret to a long and happy marriage is "give and take" and never going to bed mad.
