MACON,MO -- Charges have been dropped against a Macon couple accused of multiple sex crimes.

33-year-old Billie Spaid had been charged with two counts of statutory rape, statutory sodomy, endangering the welfare of a child and enticement of a child. His 32-year-old wife, Christina Spaid, had been charged with statutory sodomy, enticement of a child and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Macon County Prosecutor Josh Meisner said the investigation is continuing and he hopes to re-file charges in the future.
