MACON, MO --
Three men are behind bars following a drive-by shooting at a house in Macon.
Early Monday morning, the Macon Police Department responded to a report of eight to ten shots fired at 307 Vine Street.
Police found a number of bullet holes on the front of the house and seized evidence from the scene.
The occupant says a bullet even went through his refrigerator. No one was hurt, but he says he barely got his kids out in time.
Brandon Douglas, 31, was arrested and charged with First Degree Criminal Assault, Armed Criminal Action, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and First Degree Property Damage. According to court documents, he allegedly fired the shots from the passenger side of a vehicle.
Manley Lampkin II, 28, and Sean Christophel, 24, both of Macon, have been arrested and charged with Accessory to First Degree Assault. The victims say Lampkin was standing near the residence talking on a cell phone just before the incident. According to court papers, they heard him say “They’re home, they’re all here.” Christophel is accused of driving the car the shots were fired from.
All three men are being held in the Macon County Jail on $50,000 cash only bond.
