KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Having problems seeing the road at night?

Many of our viewers have called and complained about the strip of road heading north and south on Highway 63 between Queen City and Greentop, near Intersection Y.

KTVO contacted MoDOT Thursday morning and learned some valuable information.

A resurfacing project was taken on by MoDOT a few weeks ago.

After several heavy rains and winds, the patching and reflectors were no longer noticeable on the road, making it nearly impossible to see the north and southbound lane.

MoDOT understands the situation and is now in the process of laying new reflectors and paint down on the road as long as weather permits.

If by any reason the weather deteriorates, the project is planned to be finished by Friday.
