IOWA-MISSOURI -- Average retail gasoline prices in Iowa have fallen 5.7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.62 per gallon Sunday. This compares with the national average that has fallen 4.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.66 per gallon, according to gasoline price website IowaStateGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Iowa during the past week, prices Sunday were 97.6 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 21.9 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

Average retail gasoline prices in Missouri have fallen 3.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.50 per gallon  Sunday according to gasoline price website MissouriGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Missouri during the past week, prices Sunday were 89.7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 20.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

The national average has decreased 19.0 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 92.7 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
