BLOOMFIELD, IOWA -- A Bloomfield man accused of murder will have to wait a little bit longer to stand trial.

According to Iowa Courts Online, Larry Wayne Steen of Bloomfield is now scheduled to stand trial in October.

Steen is charged with shooting Randy Saner to death at the rural Davis County home of Steen's ex-wife in September of 2010.

Steen was arrested in Kirksville, Missouri soon after the shooting.

He  remains in the Davis County Jail on half-a-million dollars bond.
