ADAIR COUNTY, MISSOURI -- KTVO has learned that there has been a change at the top of the Adair County Road and Bridge Department.

Adair County Commissioner Carson Adams confirmed to KTVO that Jamie Sevits has been relieved as supervisor of the department. The commissioners voted earlier this week to replace Sevits in the position. Adams would not give a reason for the dismissal. Jeff Waddle is currently acting as Interim Supervisor of the department. 

When contacted Friday afternoon by KTVO, Sevits had no comment. Adair County Commissioners will begin at accept applications for the position next week.
