BURLINGTON, IOWA (AP) -- A 48-year-old Burlington man accused of accepting delivery of nearly 12 pounds of pot in a package remains jailed as he awaits more court action.

Darryl Shaw has been charged with possession with intent to delivery. A Des Moines County jail spokeswoman says Shaw remained in custody Thursday pending bail of nearly $10,000. The Hawk Eye of Burlington says Shaw was arrested after the pot was delivered on Feb. 22. Inside the package were five heat-sealed

bundles of marijuana that were wrapped in foil. Iowa Courts Online records say Shaw's next court hearing is scheduled for April 4.
