DES MOINES, IOWA -- A big crowd is expected at the Statehouse for a public hearing about a measure limiting collective bargaining rights for public employees.
You can click here to get live streaming audio of the hearing.
The hearing Monday night will give people a chance to give their views on the bill, which would limit bargaining on several issues, including the terms and source of insurance, restrictions on outsourcing and factors that can be considered before employee layoff.
The Republican-controlled House is expected to approve the measure, but passage seems unlikely in the Senate, where Majority Leader Michael Gronstal says he won't allow debate on the proposal.
