MACON COUNTY, MO. -- Fire destroyed a rural Macon County residence Tuesday night, leaving a family of seven homeless.
Clarence rural Fire Chief Eric Greenwood tells KTVO, his department received the call around 7:30 p.m. to the Ted Harrell residence on Olympic Avenue near Anabel, Missouri.
The home was fully engulfed in flames upon fire fighters arrival. Clarence firemen were assisted by Macon rural firemen at the scene. There were no injuries and no one was home at the time the fire broke out. The cause of the fire is not known.
