OTTUWMA, IOWA -- Is there a dangerous sexual predator on the loose in your neighborhood?

The State of Iowa wants you to know.

The Department of Public Safety has created a Most Wanted list on its official state sex offender registry.

And for Ottumwa residents, the news isn't that pleasant.

A Raynard Warner, whose last address was an apartment on North Fellows, is listed as Most Wanted.

According to the DPS, a subject is eligible for the list if they are a Tier III offender, have an active arrest warrant and be out of compliance with registry rules for at least 60 days.

There are roughly five thousand offenders on the registry, the DPS will have between 20 and 30 on the most wanted list at any given time.

Offenders will remain on the list for about two weeks after their capture to allow citizens to become aware of the arrest.

The only other offender with a Southeast Iowa connection, is a Juan Gonzales, who is listed as being from Burlington.

DPS officials say that if you see a wanted offender, the best possible course of action is to notify local law enforcement.
