Gas prices climbing during holidays

KIRKSVILLE -- Before you head out of town for New Year’s Eve you may want to consider gas prices.
According to Gasbuddy.com, a Website that tracks fuel prices, gas is up 40 cents per gallon from last year nationwide.
In Missouri the price of gas has risen 8 cents in the last week, and the average price in the state was $2.87 per gallon on Thursday.
Iowa’s prices are up, too-about 47 cents from last year.
