KIRKSVILLE, MO -- An update for you now on a story we first brought you back in September. You may remember that we reported Candace Easter, 27, of Kirksville somehow drove her car into the pond at the Kirksville Country Club.
The incident happened after she posted bond for previous charges related to an incident in July.
Those charges included unlawful use of a weapon, felony assault and first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.
Because Easter was free on bond and did not have a driver's license when her car went into the pond, her bond was revoked.
She was then placed back on house arrest and could only leave to go to work.
Easter is now in jail. Tuesday the Adair County Prosecutor filed a motion that she violated her house arrest after she landed her car in the pond. The judge revoked her bond. Her next court date is set for January fourth.
