BLOOMFIELD, IOWA -- The city of Bloomfield celebrated a Christmas tradition this evening.

The annual Bloomfield Christmas Tree Lighting kicked off with flying colors.

Despite the freezing temperatures, many gathered around the courthouse to see the fabulous Christmas light designs.

Visitors were given delicious Christmas cookies and warm hospitality.

If you were not able to make it there tonight, it's not too late.

There is still plenty of time left to view to Christmas lights.
