Foreign exchange student missing

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A foreign exchange student from Ethiopia is missing.
He was last seen in Kirksville on Sunday, May 30.
Abduleazez Awufa Mohamad, 17, has been living with his Kirksville guardians, James and Daisy Rearick.
Mohamad was riding an older blue mountain bike and wearing a backpack.
He is a black male, 5’6” tall, weighs 120 pounds and has brown eyes.
Kirksville police say Mohamad texted the Rearicks and told them he was safe and okay.
Foul play is not suspected.
Immigration officials have been notified about the teen's disappearance.
Officials say Mohamad graduated from Brashear High School last month and may have contacts in that area.
If you see the missing teenager, you're asked to report it to the Kirksville Police Department or your local law enforcement agency.
