MILLARD, MO. -- Three children escaped injury in a one-car crash Monday at the intersection of Highway 63 and Route KK in Millard.

It happened when the vehicle driven by the dad was traveling west on Route KK and crossed the northbound lanes of Highway 63, before striking a sign in the median.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, it's believed Robert Lee, 39, of Millard suffered a heart attack, which caused the vehicle to travel thru the intersection and into the median.

Lee was pronounced dead at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The three kids in the car, Lee's daughters, Riley and Kennedy, and his son, Jaxon, were not hurt.
