MACON, MISSOURI -- A bridge repair project in Livingston County on Route 36 that began on Monday, March 8, has been extended to be completed on Monday, March 15, at 4:00 p.m.

MoDOT crews are in the area conducting bridge repairs on the westbound lanes of US 36 two miles west of Route 65 in Livingston County. Traffic on the bridge over the Grand River Overflow is reduced to one lane at various locations between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution and pay close attention when traveling in the work zone. The work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.

MoDOT is seeking traveler feedback on construction work zones on state highways with the goal of making them safer and better. A customer survey, available on MoDOT's Web site at http://www.modot.org//workzones/Comments.htm allows you to provide feedback on specific work zones through which you have traveled.
