Search warrants executed in Ottumwa

OTTUMWA, IA. -- PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SOUTHEAST IOWA INTER-AGENCY DRUG TASK FORCE:

On Thursday, March 4th, 2010, officers from the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, the US Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Ottumwa Police Department’s Emergency Response Team, executed three search warrants in Ottumwa IA.

The first search warrant was at the residence of James Perry Dyer, located at 1622 W. Main, Ottumwa IA.  As a result of the search, James Dyer, age 45, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, a serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

The second search warrant was executed at the residence of Tina Marie Dyer, located at 243 East Mclean, Ottumwa IA.  As a result of the search, Tina Dyer, age 45, was arrested on the following charges:

Possession with the Intent to Deliver More Than 5 grams of Methamphetamine, a Class “B” Felony.

Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a Class “D” Felony.

Law enforcement personnel then executed a third search warrant at the Christian Geovanny Donis residence located at 225 W. 5th Street, Ottumwa IA.  As a result of the search, Christian Donis, age 31, was arrested and charged with Prohibited Acts-Unlawful possession of Methamphetamine, Prohibited Acts-Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, all misdemeanor charges.

All three suspects were booked into the Wapello County Jail.
