KIRKSVILLE, MO --  

It's the biggest time of year for those in the flower business.

KTVO stopped by The Blossom Shop in Kirksville to see how they're handling the Valentine's rush.

The owners say everyone in the family is busy arranging flowers and making deliveries. They expect tomorrow will be just as busy, with more sales than last year.

“The floor is filled with flowers, the back room is filled, the coolers. Probably somewhere between 2,000 and 3,000 roses will go out the door this weekend,” said Owner Melodie Sevits.

They've added a special touch this year to make the experience of getting flowers more fun. The delivery guys are all wearing tuxedos to deliver the bouquets. So far customers have enjoyed the personal service.
