OTTUMWA, IOWA -- A large crowd was on hand in the Bridge View Center on Saturday for the "Knife and Gun Show" which is held twice a year in the City of Bridges. 

Many gun owners have expressed concerns that the Obama Administration will work to severely limit their Second Amendment rights.

Fact Finder spoke with Mike Gabriel of "Gabe's Gun Shop" from Williamsburg, Iowa. He said that gun sales have increased this year due to those national fears.     

"The new administration has definitely increased gun sales. No doubt about it. They won't argue that either, I'm sure. A lot of people are nervous about where our government might be leading us and so they've been stockpiling a bit, they really have. And with the economy tough, I think that also has some effect on the gun buying. There are a lot more personal defense-type weapons going out than there used to be. A lot more people applying for permits to carry," Gabriel said.

Gabriel told Fact Finder that he has also seen the price of ammunition rise drastically this year, because manufacturers were not prepared for the increased sales.
