KIRKSVILLE, MO --

Kids in preschool through fifth grade are invited to go on an Australian safari this coming week. The First Baptist Church in Kirksville will be holding their annual Vacation Bible School July 27 -31. This year's theme is “Boomerang Express.”

“Vacation Bible School is an opportunity for kids to actually get into a church building. It doesn't have to actually be your own home church, but just an opportunity to get in with other kids and learn about God and learn about Jesus and what he did for us, and to actually take these real life applications and use them everyday in day-to-day activities,” said Lisa Archer, VSB Song Leader.

Along with bible lessons, kids will enjoy music, crafts, and snacks. All of the offering from the week will support the church's missionaries.

Bible school will be held Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The church van will pick up any children who need a ride. To arrange rides or for more details, call 665-6477 or send an email to info@fbckvmo.org.
