KIRKSVILLE, MO -- The past few days have been busy at the Kirksville Salvation Army and donations are expected to come pouring in over the weekend.
As students pack up and leave town for the summer, many will drop off clothes, furniture, and even electronics.
Connie Maxey has worked at the store for almost 20 years. She says this is one of the busiest times of the year. “I love it because it’s really busy. I love the kids coming in. They really help us all year. We’re privileged,” Maxey said.
If you want to drop a donation off after hours, you can put clothes or furniture in the foyer at the front of the store anytime.
