LEWIS COUNTY, MO. -- A northeast Missouri woman has been arrested on charges of stealing from a local youth group.

Lewis County authorities arrested 34-year-old Shawnna James of Monticello, Mo., on Friday. James faces one felony count of stealing.

Authorities say she took more than $500 from the Pleasant Grove 4-H group located near Canton, Mo.  James served as a group leader within the organization for about two years. Officials believe the funds were taken during that time.

James was released after posting ten percent of a $15,000 bond.  She is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
