LEWIS COUNTY, MO. -- An ATV crash sends a local child to the hospital.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 8-year-old Hannnah Cottrell of Monticello, Missouri, was injured Saturday afternoon in the crash on private property off County Road 158 in Lewis County. The all terrain vehicle she was driving overturned going up a steep embankment.

Cottrell was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois, with moderate injuries.
