OTTUMWA, IOWA -- On Sunday, volunteers and the community gathered at Ottumwa Regional Health Center to take part in the organization’s holiday sale and lasagna supper.

Ottumwa Regional is holding these events for a good cause; donating the proceeds from the holiday sale to benefit the teen center at Ottumwa High School.

“This is one of the biggest projects that we are doing this year, with a five-year commitment; and then we do other things for the community, like the women’s shelter and the men’s shelter. All the profits that we make, after all the expenses, all of the profits will go toward the teen center for them to do as they feel they need to do,” said Beverly Molkenthin with Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

The gift shop sale continues Monday from 7:30 a.m. until noon.
