Arts and crafts enthusiasts invaded the Bridge View Center for one of the largest craft shows in southeast Iowa.
OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Arts and craft enthusiasts from all over the Heartland gathered at Ottumwa’s Bridge View Center Saturday for one of the largest shows to ever come to the City of Bridges.
Craftsman from all over Iowa and other states set up shop to show off their crafts.
Organizers told KTVO that this event is a great opportunity to showcase some of the small businesses that specialize in the arts and crafts field.
“We are just really excited because these are all small businesses. These are all people that make their living many times over by doing these arts and crafts; and we are excited to bring them down here to Ottumwa. I think the community really likes what we have done. Our group is called, “Created in Iowa LLC,” it is a group of crafters that decided to put on a show,” said Jeanne White with Created in Iowa LLC.
The arts and crafts show continues Sunday.
