OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Your children may have Halloween on their minds, but the Ottumwa Chamber of Commerce already has Holiday Nights 'N Lights on theirs.

Last year more than 16,000 cars went through the light display at the Greater Ottumwa Park.

Planning for this year’s event started well before last year’s Nights N’ Lights was even over.

“The actual set up committee -- the trucks are going to be moving in place this week and we got a special group of young kids coming from out of town that are going to be helping us unload the trucks, I think the weekend of the 26th. Really, thereafter you'll see people out their continually setting up the over 300 different displays that we have so it’s quite an undertaking,” said Terry McNitt, Ottumwa Chamber Director.

McNitt said to be ready for some surprises this year!

Nights 'N Lights will be open everyday starting November 17 through December 28.

Tickets are $10 per car at the gate or $8 in advance.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for Nights 'N Lights, contact the Ottumwa Chamber of Commerce.
