OTTUMWA, IOWA -- It's the time of the year for homecoming for many area schools and that includes Indian Hills Community College. IHCC has a full week of events that kick off September 30.
Highlights of the week's activities include King and Queen coronation at noon Wednesday, October 3, a 5K Run/Walk later that evening and a reception at the Hotel Continental on the Centerville Square from 4-7 p.m. Friday, October 5.
The whole week aims to get students, staff and alumni both on and off campus involved in the school.
"The goal of homecoming is really to connect the campus with the community, to bring our alumni back to showcase what Indian Hills has and to bring people from the community onto campus," said Bianca Myers, Foundation Development Coordinator and Alumni Relations. "We hope that some of our alumni will come back in the process and really reconnect with the college."
