MORAVIA, IA -- The Moravia school district has undergone some change in recent years.

An average of about tennew students have moved into the school district within the last 6 years.

That increase in students has put the onus on getting more classrooms.

Moravia also has implemented a new reading program for students pre-kindergarten through 8th grade led by specialist Julie Sealine.

Sealine says that she has seen improvement from her students in only the short amount of time it's been in use.

Realistically results of how well the program is taking hold will be seen three to five years down the road according to Sealine.
