MILLARD, MO -- An early morning accident involving a car overturning several times sends four young adults to the hospital.

The accident happened on US 63 just south of Millard around five this morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 16-year-old Zachary Donellan of Kirksville was travelling southbound when his buick traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a drainage gate.

This caused the car to overturn several times before it landed on its top.

Riding in the car were 25-year-old Edward Kite, 15-year-old Brian Shoop, and 20-year-old Nancy Stein, all of Kirksville.

Everyone in the vehicle was transported by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center with minor and moderate injuries.
