1970 Chevelle SS was just one of the more than 100 cars at the Vintage Cruisers Car and Truck Show on Saturday

OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Stock Cars, Model T’s and Camaros were just a few of the types of more than 100 vehicles at the 5th Annual Vintage Cruisers Car and Truck Show at the Bridge View Center on Saturday.
And not even the heat could keep away all of the vintage car enthusiasts.
Those that attended today said the best part of the day was just socializing with other people that share their same passion of cars.
“My cars a ‘70 Chevelle SS and I’ve owned this car about eight years. Three years ago I busted it all apart and did a total restoration on it again. So this is the second restoration this car has had since it was new in 1970,” said Steve Gruwell, Vintage Cruisers Parking Committee.
Gruwell has three cars in total in his vintage car collection.
