2012 Adair Co. new voter registration card
KIRKSVILLE, MO -- With Election Day a little over three weeks away, here in Missouri registered voters will shortly be seeing new voter registration cards in the mail.
The new voter registration cards will be mailed out Tuesday and Wednesday across the county.
These new cards will replace all previously issued cards.
The new voter cards have a bar code that can be scanned at the polls when presented as form of I.D.
What's also new about these cards is that it will be a lot more voter friendly.
"The great thing is these things will fit in your wallet. We've had a big request for that, so hopefully this will be a lot handier for everyone to take to the polls with them," said Adair County Clerk Sandra Collop.
The new cards list your current name, address, precinct, polling place and the units of government in which are entitled to vote.
For those that would like to use your driver license, you can still opt to use that in order to vote.
To find out where to vote you can check the Missouri Secretary of State's Office website
