MACON COUNTY, MO. -- The Macon County Health Department announced the a list of Cooling Centers in Macon County for June 27-30, 2012. The following places have air conditioning where those who don’t have a/c can get a break from the excessive heat expected to hit the Heartland this week.

*Macon Public Library - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Wednesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
