SULLIVAN COUNTY, MO -- A Milan woman is recovering, after being involved in a one-vehicle accident on Route 6, near Green City.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 37-year-old Julie Howe was transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, after her Nissan Sentra ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

The accident happened around 5:20 p.m. Saturday. Troopers said she was wearing a seatbelt. The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office and Sullivan County Ambulance assisted with the accident.
